[111/12/2 CKSU Epidemic Preparedness Task Force Announcement] Explanation of changes in epidemic Covid-19 preparedness measures from 111/12/1

In accordance with the updated epidemic prevention guidelines issued by the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education, the latest prevention measures as of December 1 are as follows.

I. Requirements for wearing masks on campus

1. Outdoor spaces are exempted from wearing a face masks throughout the day. Please follow the latest announcement of the Central Epidemic Command Center for the regulations of face masks for the year-end and New Year's Eve outdoor events.

2. Indoor spaces should wear the face masks throughout the activity, except for sports, singing, taking individual/group photos, eating, drinking, live broadcasting, video recording, hosting, reporting, giving speeches, lectures, and other formal filming of conversational work or activities, and singing, dancing, or any blowing instruments needed. With the above conditions, face mask is excluded, but should carry by side for backup.

II. Group Event: The event organizer shall provide hand washing equipment or alcohol at the entrance and exit point to ensure the participants keep their hands clean.

III. Environmental and Cleaning Management

1. Environmental hygiene and cleanliness: Please conduct comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, public areas, and meeting rooms that are frequently contacted by staff and students.

2. Keep classrooms well ventilated: Keep classrooms and learning areas well ventilated, using air conditioning with one window open at each corner, with each window open at least 15cm.

IV. Campus Health Monitoring

1. If anyone found fever, acute respiratory infection, abnormal smell and taste, or diarrhea or other symptoms, they should implement the policy of "no working and no schooling" and immediately seek medical treatment or rest at home.

In order to maintain campus health and safety, staff and students are encouraged to take the influenza and COVID-19 vaccine.

V. Confirmed or tested positive cases: Please join the Health Care Group for report (Line ID, search @094lkajk) and self-quarantined at home for 5 days; for tested negative cases after the quarantine period, you can be released from independent health management.

VI. Family members or roommates living with confirmed/positive cases

1. 0+7 (self-monitor): Stay in the same room.

2. During the period of self-monitor, if there is no symptom and tested negative within 2 days, you are able to go out and attend classes in school; dine in and with the specific person.

VII. In order to prevent the occurrence of covid-19 clusters, please get the rapid antigen tests from the department in response to recent enrollment activities and end-year dinner events.
